Shubh Aarambh, or is it?

You know, sometimes, we all get ideas, maybe brilliant ones, but are shy or too afraid to try them out. Thoughts start racing in our minds, and we are all like, "No, I'll try it out later", or sometimes a little too dramatic, like the "log kya kahenge?" types. This turns out to be all and well at that time, but later we are the ones who start getting a fit of rage and the shouting, "Why didn't I trust my instinct! " and all that stuff. It's actually kind of related to some thing I know...

Have you ever seen a TV ad, you know, usually airing on Star Plus or Colors by Cadbury? It's that kind of an ad that actually touches your heart (which is actually very rare, judging by average Hindi ads...), and makes you wonder about little things. These are very cute and real, with sisters trying to cook for the first time or shy aunties, trying to go out of their houses wearing jeans. The main tagline is the one to focus on, which is 'Shubh Aarambh', or translated as an auspicious beginning. Yea sure, you must be thinking about it as just a mere advertising gimmick, with the character doing something it has never done after eating a choc, but try to think...what it really says is to follow your heart! I know, it is an average motivational quote, but in reality, not many are able to do it!

Honestly, I think the head and the heart cannot co-exist, and are also never meant to be. The heart is passionate, emotional and motherly, while the head is logical, practical and fatherly. In these situations, don't you think the heart should decide? I leave the thought to you. In the meantime, enjoy the ad!
